Bang & Olufsen’s Beolab 28 is a $ 14,750 dual speakers connected

Bang & Olufsen is known by the speakers at the end with its logo Danish design. Although it is very expensive demonstrations rule very high prices, Usually provides complete listening sessions around the house. The most recent tool for the home entertainment company is Beolab 28: wireless speakers that offer a number of connectivity options, room reading, multiroom audio and much more. And as you might expect, it is very expensive.

The Beolab 28 speakers are long cylinders with condom-shaped holes. The company says the design pays homage to the Beolab Penta, the Beolab 6000 and the Beolab 8000. Under the speakers, which have a woofer, they can adjust to sit or climb on a wall. At the top, the adjustment sensors are visible when someone arrives on the device if the approaching sensor detects movement. On the panel, play / pause options, skipping motion and volume adjustment are close to four pre-set buttons that allow you to interact only once with Spotify playlists, search engines and much more. Beolab 28 is available in a variety of colors – Natural Silver, Black Anthracite or Bronze Tone aluminum – and comes with a number of fabric coverings (gray and gray mélange) and solid wood (oak, oak, oak smoker nuts).

Inside, three three-inch drivers are twisted around with a 1-inch tweeter. On a condom-shaped stand, a 6.5-inch woofer captures low volume. Like other B&O speakers, the Beolab 28 has a Certificate of Excellence which assists the speakers in the designated area. This also includes a Beam Size Extension that gives you the opportunity to switch between two types that change the way the sound beams work. The narrow path reduces the amount of voice that leaves the walls by directing the voice to what B&O calls “the sweetest place.” The highway sends messages in a number of ways, which the company says give you the opportunity to travel while listening. Speakers allow for these colors, and they also move when the speaker is turned on.

In terms of wireless connectivity, Beolab 28 supports AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, WiFi and Bluetooth. Physical connections include Ethernet, Powerlink and line-in / optical, and the speakers come with a remote or you can use the company software for optimization. This fall, B&O is looking to expand multiroom connectivity with its Beolink technology, but could be used as part of multiroom development via AirPlay 2 or Chromecast now.

Like other Bang & Olufsen speakers recently, the Beolab 28 has a link to the company instead. The B&O says that this segment mainly guarantees future units as the device has “sufficient capacity to use and connectivity technology to accommodate new and additional changes for years to come.” If it does, it can be converted to a different color.

The Beolab 28 coverage is $ 14,750 (€ 10,750 / £ 9,750) while the wood cover is $ 16,500 (12,000 / £ 10,750) – pairs. The company intends to sell them individually, but the announcement did not include the price of a single speech. Bang & Olufsen’s hearing aids are always more expensive, but the prices are at the very end of what the company is offering. And if you think it’s too expensive, just remember that B&O makes Beolab 50 that starts at $ 40,000.
