Nio’s new ET5 EV competes with the Model 3 with 620 miles

Nio ku arrives soon ET7 was designed to compete with the Tesla Model S, and now the company seems to have a (smaller) solution to the Model 3. Electrek he says Nio ali explained ET5, a cheap “middle” electric sedan. It starts at RMB 328,000 (about $ 51,450), or under $ 70,000 for ET7, but offers the same great numbers. Nio says the original 75kWh battery provides a range of 341 km using the Chinese test, while the final 150kWh “Ultralong Range” pack is said to be good beyond 620 miles. You’ll pay a lot for this opportunity and you may not see what’s going on in real life, but those numbers can tempt you away from the top Model 3 if long distance driving is necessary.
You can expect regular professional piles. The ET5 will be equipped with autonomous driving systems as approved, and drivers will receive a “digital cockpit” for Nreal-Make transparent mirrors that can display a screen equal to 201 inches at a 20-foot viewing angle. Nio has teamed up with Nolo to make VR glasses, too, although it is safe to say that you will not wear them while driving.
Shipping is expected to start in September 2022. This is a bit of a stretch, but Nio seems to be doing well with its EV plans as it expects to deliver ET7 on time (if only) from March 28th.
This establishment is also in line with what Nio did outside of China. The brand only expanded to Norway in 2021, but its aim was to launch sales in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Sweden in 2022. You should see the badge in 25 countries and territories by 2025. Some EVs easily over several years.
