Apple’s new OS features a redesigned version of Safari, which integrates tabs and machine options in a single bar, as well as an additional FaceTime interface and the ability to enjoy social media with friends. There is also Universal Control – something that, sadly, is not in the public domain – that gives you access to your Mac and iPads with the same keyboard and mouse.
Even without Universal Control, the public beta gives you an idea of how Apple’s latest OS feels. The new safari, in particular, will take a little getting used to (though not much different from iOS 15). And it’s exciting to see Apple finally giving FaceTime new capabilities, though many of them seem to be imitating Zoom. You can also try AirPlaying playback on macOS, as well as some simple changes that can be made with Shortcuts.
