Apple is releasing iOS 15.3 and macOS 12.2 to upgrade the Safari mainframe

It’s a big day for security changes in Apple-land. The company has released software updates for almost all of its platforms, including iOS 15.3 and macOS 12.2, 9to5Mac reports. Basically, it fixes Safari insecurity that could compromise your browser history, as well as your Google account information. WatchOS 8.4 and tvOS 15.2, meanwhile, add changes to functionality. And while the company does not pay much attention to its smart speakers these days, it does launched HomePod 15.3, which adds Siri support to six English-speaking users in India, or Italian to Italy. (That’s what Apple started offering in the US back to 2019.)
While we usually do not insist on minor software updates, iOS and macOS users should address Safari threats as quickly as possible. Obviously, there are no major threats taking advantage of this, but who knows what a malware program could release in the next month or two.
