An Snapchat indoor camera is now able to create recipes based on the food you sleep around in your kitchen. Food Scan is the latest addition to the app’s application, which also allows users to identify seeds and breeds of dogs and clothing.
Now, looking for food brings out the recipes that contain the item, as well as a link to the Wikipedia content itself. Snap has partnered with allrecipes.com on the site, which is said to be able to process more than 1,200 items and process more than 4,500 meals.
I’ve had the opportunity to preview the interface, and the app’s food analysis skills are often on display. It was able to identify the different yields and create the right recipes (plus persimmon bar recipes that look fun). Like most of these types of hunting, however, it is not stupid. They said cherry recipes when I scan a bag of cherry tomatoes. And the ginger hunk managed to clear the side. No matter how the camera I held the camera, Snapchat could not recognize it as food, and instead promoted AR glasses with human hands.
The show no longer has to work with packaged foods – Snapchat has another feature that can monitor those items. – so it will not help you to know what to do with random tomato sauce or anything that picks up dust in the back of your pantry. But despite the limitations, the form is still in its infancy when you have lost your mind or just want to try something new. And, even if it doesn’t work, you can still get a new AR lens to try.
