HBO Max expands beyond the US to 39 new locations

[ad_1]

As he announced earlier this year, HBO Max is now moving out of the US, growing up in 39 regions in Latin America and the Caribbean. “I’m launching today, we’re launching our global platform and providing new opportunities for millions of fans in Latin America and the Caribbean,” HBO Max International CEO Johannes Larcher said in a statement.

Unlike HBO Max in the US, subscribers in these regions will not have the opportunity to benefit from advertising. Instead, they can choose a mobile app for the right interpretation, or a fixed plan for up to three users at the same time, profile 5 and switch up to 4K. Prices will depend on the region and the country.

As Netflix and other promotions have taken place, HBO Max will make its debut in Latin America in the next two years. It will also make the UEFA Champions League available to subscribers in Mexico and Brazil by the end of 2021. For all new subscribers, the company offers a 50% discount without a time limit, as long as they register before July 31st.
