Back in 2017, Uber he announced plans to make full use of electricity in London by 2025. Now, the project has taken another step towards achieving this goal: It has partnered with a car manufacturer in UK Arrival to build an electric car especially for the ride. According to Products, shows that Arrival is the first to enter the electric car, and will consult and collaborate with Uber drivers to create an image that fits the contract. The companies have released experiments on what the EV will look like (see above and below), but will not reveal its final design until the end of 2021 early. He expects the arrival of the EV to begin production in the third quarter of 2023.
Uber drivers in London can register EV assistance under the Clean Air Plan if they want to use an electric vehicle for this purpose. The company raised £ 135 million to help drivers with the cost of replacing cars, after all. Uber did not specify when and how drivers would register the Arrival car, but they could be selective when it became available.
