Alibaba fired for allegedly raping an adult

China’s e-commerce group Alibaba has fired a woman who accused her boss of raping her on a business trip, shortly after the #MeToo group in the country.

The company was founded by billionaire jack ma he accused the employee of “spreading false information” and “initiating wrongdoing,” according to a letter of resignation seen by the Financial Times.

The letter blamed the employee for taking a “flag and microphone” from the company’s cafeteria and sending long account about the beating of Alibaba’s internal team to find out what happened.

Her story about being raped by her boss and a customer at a liquor store spread online in August and became the subject of public relations in Alibaba.

The woman, who asked to be identified as Zhou, told FT she had printed her account inside “after repeatedly reporting the matter to company officials without response”.

“I just wanted the company leaders to see what happened and help resolve it,” he said. “I never thought the company would fire me, the victim. It’s unfair,” he said.

The incident sparked a controversy over the culture of the Alibaba company which allegedly had sex with many men and women. forced drinking at work, which was criticized by the anti-corruption group of China’s Communist Party.

In September, Chinese officials reduced other charges against a former manager who is accused and sentenced to 15 days in jail as punishment for “misconduct”.

Zhou’s shooting also put Alibaba on the line, with a favorite weekend theme on the popular Weibo TV show.

Chinese officials have intensified their campaign this year to resume business, and read at an annual meeting of the economic planning party that says monetary policy is important for the coming year.

The party should “support and facilitate the development of the capital” and prevent “dangerous growth of the capital”, according to the Xinhua agency.

In an effort to impress Chinese officials, Alibaba on Monday turned its ecommerce site into black and white to commemorate the assassination of Nanjing, a brutal part of the Chinese invasion of Japan in 1937-45 which is still a source of tensions between Asian powers.
