MC: It can be silicone.

LG: Well it’s not a silicon thing because there will be a shortage of less than kettles of tea.
AM: Right, right, right.
LG: This sounds great and I could be tempted to buy it, especially because I just think things that can be twisted and intangible sound better and because they are desirable. Maybe sometime this summer I’ll go out and sleep in the woods, Aarian, just like you do. So, for instance, I might need a tea-capable kettle.
AM: Absolutely.
LG: Mike, what is your advice this week?
MC: Aarian, every time you come to a show, end up with the right ideas, and this time it’s no different because I’m making a book, written by David Byrne, a frontrunner of Talking Heads and a songwriter and self-employed. You can get to know him by David Byrne’s American Utopia. He wrote a book about 10 or 12 years ago called Bicycle Notes. I read it when it was new, and I looked in my Kindle looking for something to read and I saw it and I started reading it again and it’s fun, that’s why I want to recommend it. David Byrne keeps the blog, I think he still keeps the blog, he just keeps making things online. He writes regularly, owns a radio, and these are literary texts from around the time, such as in the 2000s to 2008, 2009, when he traveled around the world, took a bicycle and then expanded and climbed the city.
And he writes these beautiful diaries, not only for the bike-making in the city, but for the architecture and fashion and food and nightlife and all the crazy adventures he enters. It’s fun, and it’s like one of the best travel books. David Byrne is a freelance writer, with a very successful and economical style and a really hardy and fun and entertaining atmosphere. So, if you like David Byrne and if you love bikes, and if you like to travel, it’s like in the middle of a picture of Venn.
LG: This is a good idea for you. That’s all you get, Mike.
MC: Yes, true, why? It’s like a lot of things that a group of people get into, that’s why I like to promote things like that. Also, we haven’t talked much about these bikes, and I know it’s a big part of cities and how people view cities and has grown significantly as a result of the epidemic. So, maybe, there are people out there who weren’t cyclists a few years ago, who now love them, and also like David Byrne and don’t know that this exists.
LG: We have to make another podcast about bike. What do you think?
MC: I mean, write me.
LG: All right.
AM: Yes.
MC: Or we can make a whole section about what your ideas are.
LG: I don’t know if it will take the whole part, but my thoughts this week are Lindberg Snider Porterhouse and the Sweet Burner.
MC: This will hit.
AM: Sounds good.
LG: Yes. I haven’t eaten meat, I don’t know, maybe five years, I gave up meat and then came back last year. As a result, I resumed cooking meat and I can’t say it was the worst of the plague. It’s not like I really have it or take it seriously. I wasn’t like, I couldn’t make a brisket, but I cooked more meat than I had a few years ago and recently, it was at a friend’s house, and he did a great job with the meat, and I was like, “What are you using?” And he said, “Lindberg Snider Porterhouse and Roast Fry. It’s always been there. And, I don’t know, it’s not expensive, it’s $ 11 for 14 hours, and it’s a bus, it’s good for meat, you don’t just put it on beef or chicken or fish, you can put it on vegetables It is a good combination of various herbs and spices and I like it. Therefore, I recommend that you have it in your hands as food, it will probably last forever.
