Congratulations to PlayStation Vita on its 10th birthday

[ad_1]

Ten years ago today saw the Japanese release of Sony’s dedicated final game, a PlayStation Vita. It was not as popular as the PlayStation Portable (or its main enemy) Nintendo 3DS), and Sony is still trying to bring its game to mobile, but Vita still holds a special place in the hearts of its victims. In Engadget, then Nathan Ingraham and Devindra Hardawar, both of whom have appreciated the quality of the system in our Inner Slack several times over the years (yes, I researched). So on the 10th anniversary of the War we asked our local experts what their favorite games were in the system, and encouraged them to dig a small shiny bag in their rooms to move on. – Kris Naudus, Consumer Guide

Gravity Rush

Right to Gravity Rush‘s acrobatic games, which allow you to fall in the air on any side, as well as move along the sides and bottom of the house, go hand in hand with carrying the War. This turned out to be a game I could not do but love even though it was frustrating. Gravity Rush took the opportunity to improve the movement of the machine – you need to tilt Vita to control your flying speed – and its anime-looking beauty looks amazing on Vita’s window. With a few games captured the magic of the hardware system successfully.

Of course, the battle was easy and the story did not sound straight. But the visceral sensation on the fly was difficult to compare, especially on the portable connector. I’ve never been playing PlayStation 4 Gravity Rush remaster, mainly because my memory of the game is so closely tied to Vita. I think it’s time to move on, though. The Vita is fine and dead, and if I wanted to play the sequel, I have no choice but to move to my PS4. – Devindra Hardawar, Editor-in-Chief

References: Electric Symphony

Any portable device needs a good graphics game. For PS Vita, it was References: Electric Symphony. The first game of Lumines was the opening theme for those who led the War, PlayStation Portable, and Electric Symphony came when Vita sold. The starting game remained the same: you direct 2-and-2 squares of different colors together and match the colors to clear objects. If your veil is heavy, that’s it.

What makes it References: Electric Symphony Interestingly, the game is linked to the hit of long computer music from artists like LCD Soundsystem, Aphex Twin, The Chemical Brothers and about 30 others. Each song has a different speed, and that speed is reflected in the game; it’s not like Tetris when things start to move faster and faster. It’s mostly like Tetris Effect, which was the first Tetris game to make music and vocals the most important part of the game.

References: Electric Symphony it does not reach the top Tetris like a puzzle game, but it doesn’t knock too much. It’s hard to compete with it one of the most popular video games of all time, Electric Symphony is still a great way to spend time, either through a small section or a long game – through the over 30 ways the game has to offer. – Nathan Ingraham, Deputy Editor-in-Chief

Modnation Racers: Roadmap

Since then Super Mario Kart arrived in 1992, gamers tried to imitate its appeal without success. For my money, Modnation Racers: Roadmap came very close. The theme of PS Vita was a new version of PS3 games released in 2010. The two episodes follow Mario Kart’s script extensively: crazy music and weapons and objects that allow you to compete with your rival.

What the Modnation Racers did differently was to offer endless fun – your kart, racing and, most importantly, training itself. Even in a limited Vita game, you can download all kinds of creatures from the Modnation team, which made the game live for years until Sony shut down the servers.

Despite not all the features in the area, however, Modnation Racers: Roadmap still exploding play. The 30 tracks in its system are very well made, and the operating system just feels good. After almost 10 years, the game shows its age, but it is a good example of Sony’s promise to bring the top game to Vita. The artwork doesn’t look as sharp as it used to be, but the race is still exploding. – I AM

OlliOlli

Sony initially set up the PS Vita as a way to play high-end gaming on the go, but its legacy is similar to the smaller, indie hand-blown game. OlliOlli and its consequences OlliOlli 2: Welcome to Olliwood and two games that I played for hours, though they weren’t as good looking and high quality as games from major studios.

OlliOlli and a skateboarding side slide game that combines lo-fi music and game graphics that were easy to learn, but crazy to master. And let me make it very clear, “crazy” is a tool. When I figured out how to make the most of the journey and removed the long combos to lower my interest rate, I had trouble doing well at any level.

And there are a yours to know here; both games had five states to win, each with five levels of “amateur” and “pro”. And, each level has five goals to score if you really want to be a completeist. Most of the time, I do not try to score 100 percent in every game, but here I was forced to keep pushing myself to win as many challenges as I could.

Both of these games have been going on for years, with the addition of new essential machines such as notes, so that you can jump in all the groups without stopping your combo. I recently repeated both, and I still enjoy trying to do as much balance as I can – if you want to score more goals, OlliOlli it’s a good way. And if you have never tried this game, I have good news: all available on modern PlayStation consoles, with new games, OlliOlli’s country, and coming on February 8th. – I AM

Man 4 Gold

I would not have asked to know more about the land of Persona than this chapter on the War. Persona 4 Golden’s The bold and beautiful beauty came out of the OLED display of the system. (I can’t say if LCD Vita later did a horrible job.) It also showed one of the most memorable JRPG songs I ever encountered. Above all, the Vita move was justified P4Gfall. Being able to bring the game out, on the subway and in my whole house made me feel like a real journey, not just a JRPG job.

For me, the person who grew up with Game Boy, Man 4 Gold it also proved that the portable machine could bring similar experiences to home consoles. Sure, there were restrictions on battery life and screen size, but in 2012 play deep and clear RPG during the War he felt like a miracle. And honestly, it still is. It’s time to dump her and move on. – DH

Xenogears

I know this is a little tricky. But War is one of the last plans I have which runs Xenogears, Square is beautiful and wonderful Neon Genesis Evangelion-and RPG. As a person who was consistently made up of both Chrono Trigger and Evangelion 90s, Xenogears It’s a rare culture that is always made for professionals like me. I love everything: special battle, Yasunori Mitsuda competition and great war battles. Hell, I am again digging for the last heavy act. When the battle comes, he can play Xenogears in passing it caused me to fall again. – DH
