Despite months of negotiations and preparations, Libya’s presidential elections are expected to be postponed.
Libya was part of the Arab Spring, and since the coup toppled the government a decade ago, it has not known peace or stability.
But after months of difficult negotiations and international reconciliation, there were new prospects for the future.
The armed forces signed a UN-sponsored anti-war agreement, formed a coalition government and agreed to hold elections on December 24.
But the head of the electoral commission has now dissolved all election committees, just days before polling stations open.
What does all of this mean for the future of this country?
