The latest version of app seems to be fixing a problem that has been around for a long time for Android users: it ultimately shows what is being sent via Apple correctly. As he said , the app has now turned Tapbacks into an emoji.

So, if an Android user sent a message to an iPhone owner reading “do we see in ten?” and their iOS friends used it as we have seen, Messages showed the answer as its vocabulary (i.e. “I liked ‘see in ten?'”). This often made the discussion more difficult than it needed to be, especially in group discussions.
Google on RCS-compatible Android devices last year, but there are differences for iOS Tapbacks. When Apple uses a heart symbol, a “ha ha” sign and other symbols, Google uses emoji. So, the Android app seems to change the heart into a face and eyes of the heart, “ha ha” into a funny face and so on. Some nuances may be lost in the translation, but they are still much cleaner than Google has ever seen Tapbacks.
The changing words first appeared through 9 of 5 GoogleI’m very much in the beta of Recent Messages. Google has begun posting new updates. We haven’t reached the point where iMessage is on Android, but Google is playing very well with iOS.
