The larger sensor also offers less functionality, more detail, more flexibility and more video interface. At the same time, the forms af / 2.8 to f / 11 make the camera flexible in a variety of lighting conditions. If you shoot a lot of bright sunlight, however, I recommend that you take filters for neutral density.
Shooting at ISO 1600 and 3200, we had white and color images in the shadows and dark areas. However, the noise is well controlled and natural, so it is not difficult and can be reduced to a small amount of noise. The noise is starting to intensify on the ISO 6400, but these adjustments can be applied to night images if you do not want more photography.
DJI promoted the maximum H.264 data rate from 100 Mbps to 200 Mbps, and introduced H.265 recording to 140 Mbps. It is an important change, because the aerial photographs taken by the drones can contain details that interfere with GOP (MP4) stress. As a result, character is often better, and especially when it comes to detail.
This begs the question if you want a ProRes solution with a 1TB SSD, considering the price differences. I would say that it is an important part of the radio program, because it pushes drones into the professional field. For others like YouTubers or industrial users, the H.264 character is simple enough.

Mavic 3 uses a Hasselblad color scheme that is supposed to provide accurate colors. For the most part, it worked well on all fronts, whether shooting in cities, on the beach or in the countryside. The skin is warm, and while you may not think it is the most important part of the drone, the Mavic 3 can see a lot of use in weddings, notes and videos. It is so smooth that it can insert a sign or a doll in a single shot.
To increase the flexibility, you can shoot 10-bit D-Log images. Sun exposure and other challenging events, I found that it allows me to maintain a flexible look and bring out the details of the images and shadows.
One of the new features of the Mavic 3 is a 162mm telephoto camera that looks like an inch sensor. I’ve seen some confusion about looking at the Mavic 3, here’s how it works.

A large digital camera with no magnification is similar to a 24mm full lens, or what DJI calls a 1X zoom. To add to that, you turn the drone to search on the Fly app. From there, you can select settings intelligently (1X, 2X, 4X, 7X, 14X and 28X) or use the center slider. Up to four magnification takes place digitally with a large camera, but the 4X magnification is highly pixelated and cannot be used for any production operation.
The 161mm telephoto camera, 12-megapixel f / 4.4 pushes at 7X zoom, and delivers 4K video up to 30 fps. It can upgrade digital to 28X, but again, the quality suffers. For clear images, you must be between 1X and 2X zoom, or up to 7X exactly.
Mavic 2 (not pro), by contrast, has a 28mm lens with 2X magnification. The design of the Mavic 3’s 7X is extreme, but it opens up some fun production. However, the appearance of light on the camera is not surprising given the size of the small sensor. When it comes to professional work, it has little value.

In the case of JPEGs, it is a solid drone image. I was a little disappointed to hear that the Mavic 3 has the same 20-megapixel sensor and a smaller one than the Mavic 2 Pro (stand 12.8 compared to the 14 stops mentioned). However, larger pixels than production are more sensitive to light and noise reduction.
That said, you want to make sure your photos look good. The Mavic 3 usually shows off in shooting mode only, but can fall off if you shoot in the sun. It supports shooting using RAW DNG files, which gives you more latitude to edit images in Lightroom.
The quality of the pictures using the telephoto lens was better than the color of the video, it gives clear images of the correct colors, but with one important warning. You can only shoot JPEGs and not RAW files, which prevents you from editing post shooting. Again, this makes telephoto lenses less useful to professionals. On the other hand, it can be very useful for other types of work, such as travel, search and rescue, bird watching and so on.

Mavic 3 is the simplest DJI aircraft to fly, due to avoidance of obstacles, and more. It has three types of flying: Cine, slow-motion flyer, Normal and Sport, high-speed flying.
Mavic 3 works with the simple DJI Fly app, not the Go 4 app used by Mavic 2 Pro. Camera preferences such as lock, ISO, video editing and much more are adjusted in the large right-hand fly window. The capture button with various video / image preferences (QuickShot, Hyperlapse, etc.) is located on the right. To access the advanced settings such as Security, Navigation, Cameras and Shipping, you need to enter the three-drop menu.
Once you turn on the app and connect your mobile phone to the RC-N1 controller, you are ready to turn on the drone. It plays three note notes at the start and is ready to go in less time than the Mavic Air 2S or 2 Pro.
When you leave, it remembers your RTH home (back home). It flows smoothly, enabling pilots to take easy-to-use slideshow. It’s no quieter than the Mavic 2 or 2 Pro, but it has a minimalist tone that doesn’t confuse humans or wildlife.

It also runs, beats at a speed of 42 MPH per game. Just remember that avoiding obstacles is that way, so you need to be careful to avoid accidents (too fast).
The Mavic 3 is covered with amni-directional sensors for the front, back, top and bottom. The app features barriers that can help you avoid them, while the APAS 5 system gives you the opportunity to make the Mavic 3 to stand in the face of obstacles or turns.
We went through a lot of dangers, including gnarly trees, power lines and more. It stopped or slipped, depending on the method we have established. It looked at the page once and went down in RTH mode, although it did not set the drone. However, it can indicate potential problems with the earth drone sensor group. Avoiding obstacles can be stopped in all ways, if you can imagine.

The RTH feature also brings the drone down when the battery is low, choosing the best option possible. We found that it works in all conditions, even in hard-to-reach areas. The only downside is that it does not bring the drone back at high speed, most pilots would prefer to go back manually by default or sport.
One of the biggest unfortunate things not to come until January is ActiveTrack 5. As DJI has followed in the past, it has been designed to keep you tracked while cycling, flooding and doing other things. The latest version is designed to follow the headlines regardless of the direction in which they are moving and will continue to follow even after leaving. Since this is an important factor, I can revise this comment as soon as I get it.
Other features include QuickShots for high-end camera shots such as squares and boomerangs, as well as MasterShots, designed to create fast videos for TV users. It also has no popular Panorama interface for seamless photos, with QuickTransfer for fast WiFi video transfer and transfer.
What is missing is not good, but a slight delay allowed DJI to release the drone. Cameras from Sony, Canon and others often have additional features added later with firmware updates, so DJI is not alone in doing this. Buyers may apologize for the delay, but only if the update arrives in January as promised.

With its starting price of $ 2,200, the Mavic 3 is designed to capture the best videos and photos of professional and prosumer users. It gives a strong impression in this regard, thanks to a pro-level sensor that provides an amazing picture, as well as stability that allows for a silly shot. ProRes video and 1TB SSD internal are great features for shooters.
It’s not perfect, though. The same users may find that the telephoto camera is useless because it does not offer even close to the same level as the main camera. He may also wonder why the common nation comes with a controller and a small Fly program, considering the high cost. Missing features like ActiveTrack 5 are a challenge, but when it does, everyone will quickly forget that they were never in the beginning.
In terms of competition, DJI has no peers when it comes to color (his Mavic 3 line is “Drawing Above Everything”). In other words, the laser-focused on the cameras, as recently shown by the mad, is amazing Roni 4D. Some companies like it Skydio, however, no doubt offers flying drones that avoid extremes.
Should this affect your shopping decision? I leave a final word to Samuel, a professional photographer and certified pilot who owns several DJI drones and assisted in the analysis.
“I’m interested in buying it, because it has a sensor that is large and works so well that it is a big part of the visual landscape. ‘tripod in the air.’ This has some drawbacks, but for me, this is the best of both worlds. ”
