Check out the launch of Blue Origin which carries Alan Shepard’s daughter into space

If the weather is favorable and there are no technical problems to stop, the New Shepard six-passenger car will be departure today at 9:45 AM Eastern time. It is the third Blue Origin function that works as well for the first time that the plane will fit six people. One of the passengers was Laura Shepard Churchley, the daughter of Alan Shepard known as the first American to go into space. They have been making a trip Good Morning America Michael Strahan as a guest of the Jeff Bezos space company.

Paid for the trip are professional fundraiser Lane Bess and her son Cameron Bass aka MeepsKitten on Twitch, Voyager Space boss Dylan Taylor and volunteer pilot / Starfighters Aerospace Evan Dick. The Blue Origin NS-19 was due to move to the suborbital space on December 9, but was pushed back due to strong winds.

The company started its own the first astronauts in July, carrying Jeff Bezos and his brother above the Kármán line. In October it flying William Shatner in the air on his second staff tour. Mission NS-19 is not only the third trip to Blue Origin this year, but also one of many space agencies and private companies, including SpaceX and Virgin Galactic. As Jennifer Levasseur, curator at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, put it The Washington Post, is “the busiest year in human history.” He added: “We are entering a new phase of events that we have never seen before, to be honest. And it brings great joy.”
