More than a dozen vaccinated patients could be killed by COVID-19 in Indonesia, according to the medical council, while the Southeast Asian country is facing a number of cases in the medical profession and new infections.

The disease has spread to a country of 270 million people last week, with more than 2.05 million people reported on Saturday, as the number of hospital stays rose to 75% in Jakarta and other affected areas.

Nearly 1,000 Indonesian health workers have died of the virus since the outbreak began, with medical authorities in the country confirming on Friday that 401 doctors were in prison – 14 of whom had received full immunizations.

“We are still updating the page to confirm whether other cases have been vaccinated or not,” COVID-19 co-ordinator Mohammad Adib Khumaidi told reporters.

The rise of major cases in the medical profession has raised questions about the Chinese-made Sinovac jab., Indonesia, which relies heavily on vaccination for more than 180 million people by early next year.

This month, more than 300 vaccinated doctors and health workers in Central Java were diagnosed with COVID-19, and about a dozen were hospitalized.

The country is also battling new diseases, including the most endangered Delta species that were first identified in India.

In the city, in Jakarta, a number of lawsuits have forced hospitals to set up emergency tents, according to the Detik website, which cites government officials.

In Medan, the capital of North Sumatra, Dr Inke Nadia D Lubis, a member of the COVID group in the region, said that in the past six months about 1,800 children have been infected with the virus, including 14 who have died.

More than half of the cases reported were first-year students, while a quarter were high school students, Inke was told by Detik.

On Friday, President Joko Widodo said the country was facing “challenges”, and promised to respond with “urgent and appropriate policies” while urging its people to unite in response to the government’s response.

‘The Fall Is Near’

Medical indicators show that the problem is one of the main causes of the increase in cases in West Java, says a medical spokesman for the region, Eka Mulyana.

“In West Java, bed prices have skyrocketed over 90 percent. The rate at some hospitals is more than 100%, ”he told reporters.

“Right now, our health is on the verge of collapse.”

Many areas in Central Java’s Kudus regency were suspended after the Delta type was found in local tests, which led to an emergency outbreak.

The protests were criticized for the millions of people traveling from Muslim-majority areas at the end of Ramadan last month., although there was an annual ban on migration.

Ahmad Ipul Syaifuddin, a spokesman for the Indonesian medical council, said the crowd had made it impossible to determine the origin of the operation.
