HTC Vive untied his wrist tracker Focus 3 headset. The device is 85 percent smaller and 50 percent lighter than the Vive Focus 3 controller.
The brand says the dress can follow your arm from finger to toe. The Focus 3 cameras can monitor the LEDs for self-monitoring. Thus, putting a Wrist Tracker on an object allows the head to track it with six levels of freedom.
With the help of high-quality IMU data (inertial measurement unit) and high kinematic type, the Focus 3 will still detect the exact position of your hand and arm when the tracker is not on the camera line. It can also predict how you would like it, so if you, for example, get to the back of your head with a tennis racket to play a shot, the earphone should have a good idea of what you are doing.
