Sonic the Hedgehog he became one of them great movies of 2020, despite the major CG challenges that led to a delay of three months. Now, Paramount has dropped the first sequel trailer that gives us our first glimpse of the new man, Knuckles, narrated by anyone but Idris Elba.
The trailer features Sonic (Ben Schwartz) and his new sidekick Tails (Colleen O’Shaughnessy). He also takes Dr. Robotnik, aka, Eggman (Jim Carrey) who is looking for luxury. Sonic McGuffin, The Chaos Emeralds. However, Robotnik has Echidna up his arms like the Knuckles, who show off his violent powers with amazing speaking words. (Elba promised her Knuckles it doesn’t sound like a prostitute, but he is more honorable than ever.)
Sonic’s first video became one of the most successful video games, so there’s a lot going on next. Unfortunately, the clear trailer shows that we do not see the CGI challenges that plagued the first film. The following is expected to be released on April 8, 2022.
