Alexa can tell you if your washing machine has stopped or the water is running

Recently, Amazon informing something that caused Alexa to hear other types of noise, called Custom Sound Detection. Now, that’s it in addition Alexa’s new two-dimensional indicators of “running water” and “device beeping” that can be used to set up systems or reminders. It also rolled out some new features in products such as drug enhancement, ultrasound detection and many more.

It was already possible for Alexa to master the two terms, but a new change meant that you would not have to struggle to teach. With these new features, you can use the Alexa app to send notifications while the washer cries to indicate that your clothes are worn out. It can also remind you to accidentally turn off a person’s sink to let the water run.

In the same lines, these changes include the installation of ultrasound systems on selected Echo devices. At its September launch, Amazon said the device would arrive at four Echo and Echo Dot devices, designed to use “subtle ultrasound waves” to determine if there are people in the room. With these new systems, you can use Alexa to turn on the lights when you appear near the device, for example, or to lower the thermostat if no movement is detected.

Another new feature allows Amazon Pharmacy customers to ask Alexa to review their list and get updates when they are delivered. “You can also ask Alexa to call Amazon Pharmacy to get in touch with an Amazon Pharmacy customer representative who can answer questions on topics such as registration, account, payment, and medical information and results,” Amazon said.

Some of the new features include a “favorite tutorial” that gives you the opportunity to teach Alexa your favorite sports or games, restaurant ideas (“Alexa, what should I eat?”), TikTok video launcher, communication channel (“Alexa, join discussions”) and phones hands-free audience using Verizon Number share. Amazon also announced that customers can now order Echo Show 15 and ship on December 9. The new features are now running on Alexa devices, though some may be limited.
