Cadillac’s new self-driving concept is a lovely place on wheels

[ad_1]

After setting up a six-person box to drive yourself with frickin ‘drone idea last year, GM’s most recent concept of self-driving EV is stable. The InnerSpace Ideas On the outside it looks like a car of the future — but on the inside there are two love chairs surrounded by one of the largest photos we have ever seen. No steering or pedals, yes. Instead, there is a built-in ottoman as well as a closet for slippers and a blanket. Where GM goes, you will not need manual manipulation.

Even getting into a car seems like something from science fiction: doors open, while a large glass / sun glass pops out. As always, ideas like InnerSpace are a way for car manufacturers to completely change their muscles and imagine what the future cars will look like. While it may seem out of reach for most people, perhaps Cadillac’s richest customers would be delighted to have a personal carrier. At least it is a better environment than all the sized luxury SUVs.

“Electricity installation and autonomous driving will significantly improve the quality of traffic and customer experience,” Bryan Nesbitt, GM’s Global Advanced Design CEO, said in a statement. “We’re looking at where this can go with these new ideas, thinking about traveling as a good friend, giving customers a better quality of life, more time than just taking it.”

As someone who hates driving, but lives in a place I can’t avoid, it will be interesting to see how car manufacturers turn self-driving cars into reality. And perhaps by discovering these wild products through their own machines, they have shown us more ideas for self-driving family EVs.
