Thousands of asylum seekers, mostly from the Middle East, Asia and Africa, are living in extreme cold conditions in the Polish-Belarus border camps in need of humanitarian assistance.

Poland has sent thousands of troops to the border to push back for asylum seekers, a move that human rights activists say violates their right to adhere to the 1951 Refugee Convention.
The Polish government has accused Belarus’ President Alexander Lukashenko of “making weapons” of emigration to the European Union by sending them to the border. “We are defending the borders of the European Union,” Polish Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz told Marc Lamont Hill. Heaven.
