Netflix has hired N’Jeri Eaton, a former Apple Podcast product manager, to launch its podcast operations. According to Variety, is the first person to lead a Netflix podcast program, demonstrating its commitment to audio streaming. Netflix has been releasing it for a long time social media shows thanks to its original movies and TV shows, including Crown, Mfiti and Alien Things. Eaton will now oversee its fellow movies, as well as the company’s original products.
The new director will be part of a publishing and publishing company, led by Michelle Lee, former executive director of Allure. Both Lee and Eaton have joined a promotional program later this month. As Bloomberg As a result, Netflix is expanding its coverage and distribution network and has been gaining traction for journalists. Eaton and Lee will tell Netflix CMO Bozoma Saint John, former Apple CEO.
Prior to joining Apple in August 2020, Eaton worked at NPR for four years, where he found new talent, contentment and collaboration. He announced his departure from Apple in a tweet on July 2 and has recently confirmed that he has joined Netflix as the Head of Podcasts.
