Meta says it is preparing retail stores to showcase its products

The formerly known company Facebook has been discussing the possibility of opening a pre-existing site modified itself as a Meta, according to The New York Times. It appears that negotiations to open the brick and mortar shops began last year, although nothing has been completed, and the work could be stopped. If Meta opens a retail store, however, it will be like a retail store that introduces products made by its Reality Labs unit instead of selling real products.

Those tools include Oculus Quest (soon to be Meta Quest) real-time sensors and c Portal instruments, which were designed specifically for video calling. Shops can also showcase augmented real smart glasses called Stories Made by Facebook by Ray-Ban. Copy notes The Times he noted, the goal of Meta is to create “interest” and “proximity” to its stores, as well as to provide customers with a place where they can have “free judgment” when testing headphones.

The same record shows that Meta is looking for stores with a modern, stylish and stylish look. The company also saw many potential names, such as Facebook Hub, Facebook Commons, Facebook Innovations, Facebook Reality Store and From Facebook. It later settled on the Facebook Store, but that could change now that the company has been redesigned.

If Meta continues with this system, its first retail store will be located in Burlingame, California, where the Reality Labs office is located. The Times he says the project will be able to spread globally, though, with locations in different countries and regions.
