BMW’s iX M60 performance EV comes with 610 HP and a half years M edition.

Heat on (w) heels of our October test drive and BMW iX, a high-end car manufacturer has unveiled the most powerful – but also the most electric – version of the EV model at CES 2022 in Las Vegas, the new 2023 iX M60. Building on more than 50 years of design with a well-known automaker manufacturer line, the iX M60 (along with the upcoming i4 M50) is the first BMW brand to be the most efficient electric car.

In addition to the 610 horsepower, all iX M60 wheels will deliver 811 ft-lbs of torque, which means 3.6 seconds 0-60 (not bad for a car weighing 6,900 pounds), a top speed of 155 mph, and a range of 280 km using wheels. 21 inches. It’s dual and synchronous motors they have modern power, meaning that their rotational speed depends on the amount of electrical energy used – not relying on fixed magnets to produce magnetic force that turns the wheels. According to BMW, this contributes to the overall efficiency of the car and its increased capacity and eliminates the need for global materials that are needed to build cars.

Its battery pack has a power output of 106 kWh (111.5 kWh total). Complete charging (0-100 percent) on an 11W AC plug will take approximately 10.5 hours to complete (or 33 hours per 3.7 kW). Charging up to 80 percent on a DC speed charger will take 97 minutes at 50 kW, 40 minutes at 120 kW or only 35 minutes if you have access to a wash area with a 250kW port (note that M60’s 369V Construction reduces the amount of DC in 195 kW even if you have the opportunity to have a high-speed station).

Externally, the M60 is similar to the iX. It measures 195 x 77 x 65 inches and also incorporates an aluminum space and a carbon cage with strong carbon fiber plastic on the roof, side and back. But if you look closely, you will see only blue M60 calipers and 22-inch rims. Of the eight foreign models available, Titanium Bronze is only available on the M60, as well as Titanium Bronze wheels.

Inside, M60 drivers will have their five-choice options (either using SensaTec materials or perforated leathers) as well as the stable design, technology and ADAS systems we expect on high-end vehicles. These include Bowers & Wilkins Diamond surround sound system, panoramic “Sky Lounge” ceiling LED, adaptive LED lights and millions of driver and vehicle sensor sensors, and something called BMW Natural Interaction, which allows you to control infotainment system with manual and manual controls.
