Adele found Spotify to remove the mixed button on the album pages

Artists do more power on a fun musical game, but Adele can have more power than most. BBC News reports Spotify has removed The Play button on all pages of the Album after Adele pressed the company to make changes to sync and setup 30. Albums should feel “like [artists] wanted “while telling” the story, “the singer explained following a Twitter post.

You can still edit the disc using the controls for each song. This basically adds an extra step and pushes you to select the first song. Opponents like Apple Music allow you to hold the “shuffle” button on the disc page.

There is no question that some albums have to be played systematically, in combination 30. It connects the story around the most important moment in Adele’s life. However, critics have already expressed concerns about removing the form to please the artist. It’s one thing to encourage playing albums in some way, but it’s another to get the audience to control them – what about the artists who are happy to allow playing?

Spotify has the drive to make such changes, at least. Adele’s lead single for 30, “Easy On Me,” broke a Spotify one-day record previously maintained by the K-pop megagroup BTS. Although Spotify did not disclose his reasons, the company probably does not want to criticize one of its most important musicians and offer the opportunity to lose customers.
