Apple Podcasts’ software standards change as the company begins to introduce users

Apple’s idea that allow votes for its own programs is producing … mixed results. As a manufacturer Kosta Eleftheriou and On the beach I realize, the official Podcasts program has dropped from a 1.8-star rating to 4.8 in just a few weeks due to the number of comments. As you can imagine, this was not the result of a change (non-existent) at the time. Instead, the case seems to be on the agenda and a little bit of confusion.

The manufacturer of the iPhone said On the beach that iOS 15.1 began to encourage users to vote and comment “like most third-party programs.” However, many people think they are voting for the program they are listening to, not the program – and this has led to a lot of controversy and commentary on podcasts.

This issue did not affect many other first-party apps, such as Apple Maps (2.8 stars at the time of writing). Even the iTunes Store votes, at the top (4.8 stars), include comments that focus on the program and not on the content.

Promotions bring about the stability of Apple apps – they’re easy to get rid of if you want to. At the same time, this integration increases the value of Podcasts and makes the content less relevant to the majority of people who choose podcast clients. This change also confirms the problem and relies on votes and comments regardless of platform. It is easy for the wrong users, freedom fighters and hypocrites to pervert their minds.
