The robbers have been very cruel to this day. We don’t know who caused this, not even Huntress tied the meeting to the Russian-affiliated REvil group itself attacked the butcher JBS.
The event is most recent at large redemption prices, including JBS and Colonial Pipes. It also follows the main ones SolarWinds Explosion called another group, Nobelium. Internet security is becoming a major issue in marketing, and it is not clear that these problems will soon end.
The Kaseya breach also highlights the dangers of relying too much on a single company program. While the number of customers directly affected is small, the retail networks appear to have created a crisis that has devastated many companies along the way. Things will not change until there is strict security between providers like Kaseya or other competition that minimizes potential damage.
