UK: Matt Hancock quits after violating COVID rules by kissing agent | Coronavirus News Plague

The Secretary of Health has resigned after a photo of him kissing a friend last month was published in a newspaper.

British Health Minister Matt Hancock has resigned a day after he was called in for questioning over human rights abuses.

A 42-year-old boy has resigned from Prime Minister Boris Johnson on Saturday after The Sun reported published photos of a married minister hugging a woman who has been appointed to a tax office to monitor her performance.

The outrageous images of politicians and politicians were taken May 6 – 11 days before the ban on hugging and communicating with outsiders.

Hancock has been at the forefront of the fight against the coronavirus, often appearing on television and radio programs urging people to adhere to strict rules for contracting the virus.

His departure means that Johnson has to appoint a new minister to take over the major health department and deal with COVID-19 at a time when cases are resumed.

Johnson said Friday he received Hancock’s apology and saw the case closed, but the latter met with pressure to step down.

“We are indebted to the people who have committed themselves to the epidemic to be honest if we have offended them as I have done in violating the directive,” Hancock said in a statement.

Johnson replied that he was sorry to receive it.

“You have to be very proud of your work,” he wrote. “I ‘m grateful for your support and I hope your donations to the charity are almost over.”

The main opposition Labor Party also questioned whether he had violated the minister’s rules: the woman, Hancock’s former colleague, had been appointed director, on pay, by taxpayers, to oversee his activities.

Operations boss Keir Starmer said on Twitter that Hancock was eligible to resign. “But Boris Johnson should have fired him,” he added.

With 128,000 people, Britain is one of the deadliest victims from COVID-19 in the world and Hancock, more than three years ago, was widely blamed for causing the epidemic.

However, the Johnson Conservative government has been encouraged to actively roll out the immunization program, with 84% of seniors having one share and 61% having both, ahead of many other countries.
